Released in 1984 on Sugar Hill Records (UMG), Desert Rose can be looked at as the precursor to the formation of the Desert Rose Band, which started coming together not long after this album was released. The CDs we have are signed by Chris Hillman. The record features many of Chris' long-time musician friends, including Herb Pedersen and Jay Dee Maness (who soon became members of the Desert Rose Band); James Burton; Bob Warford; Bernie Leadon; Byron Berline; Ray Park; Al Perkins; Glen D. Hardin Jerry Scheff and Ron Tutt.
