L-R Dallas Taylor, Fuzzy Samuel,Stephen Stills, Joe Lala, Chris, Paul Harris, and Al Perkins.

Formed by Stephen Stills, and Chris Hillman, with Paul Harris, Joe Lala, Al Perkins, Fuzzy Samuel, and Dallas Taylor in 1972. Only lasting two years, Manassas performed to sellout crowds around the world.

They recorded two albums for Atlantic Records. “Manassas”, and “Down the Road”. The double album “Manassas” would earn a ’ double gold award’, based on sales.

Stephen Stills would return to his former group, Crosby, Stills and Nash, after a short but successful two years with Manassas.
